Key Auburn WR target Ny Carr decommits from Georgia

Can Hugh Freeze and Co. pull off another flip?

One of Auburn’s top targets is back on the open market.

Four-star wide receiver [autotag]Ny Carr[/autotag] had been committed to the Georgia Bulldogs since July 2022 but on Sunday he announced he was decommitting from the Bulldogs. This could be good news for Auburn as they have kept recruiting him and he visited for Big Cat Weekend in July.

Carr is the No. 53 overall player and No. 11 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite ranking. The Moultrie product is also the No. 9 player from Georgia.

He would be another great addition to what is a loaded class at wide receiver, potentially joining five-star [autotag]Perry Thompson[/autotag] and four-stars [autotag]Bryce Cain[/autotag] and [autotag]Malcolm Simmons[/autotag]. With Auburn’s wide receivers struggling to make an impact to start the season, wide receivers coach [autotag]Marcus Davis[/autotag] is looking to bring in a big class.

Auburn isn’t the only school that is making a push for Carr, Florida State and Miami are both looking to lure him out of the Peach State.

The 6-foot, 170-pounder has had a strong start to his senior season, catching 30 passes for 489 yards and nine touchdowns in four games for Colquitt County.
