The Chicago Bulls have been home to many all-time greats throughout the years. The most obvious is Michael Jordan, who is widely regarded as the greatest NBA player of all time. Others include Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Artis Gilmore and Toni Kukoc.
In recent years, however, a group of potential Hall of Famers have also played for the Bulls, too. Dwyane Wade, Pau Gasol and Derrick Rose are names that come to mind. But on top of that, Jimmy Butler was also on the Bulls. But is he a Hall-of-Famer? According to Kevin Garnett, yes he is.
During a recent edition of his podcast, “Showtime’s KG Certified,” Garnett said he believes Butler is a Hall-of-Famer.
“Based on (Butler’s) playoff performances and stuff, he got the 2 finals — yeah, he a Hall of Famer,” Garnett said.

Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett discuss Jimmy's response when asked what it would mean for him to be elected into the HOF.

Butler wasn’t able to lead the Bulls to an NBA Finals appearance during his time there, but since he left Chicago, he’s made massive strides.
Over the past four seasons, Butler has led the Miami Heat to three Eastern Conference finals appearances and two NBA Finals appearances. While he hasn’t won a championship, he’s been the best player on very high-level teams for multiple years in a row.
So, is Butler a Hall-of-Famer at this point in his career? Garnett believes so, and based on his resume, most people would agree. Most Chicagoans wish he would have reached that peak in a Bulls uniform. Regardless, he’ll likely reach that goal.
