Kevin Durant’s former teammate calls him ‘greatest scorer in NBA history’

Kevin Durant received a lot of praise from Kendrick Perkins and Jay Williams on ESPN’s ‘The Jump’ on Tuesday.

Kevin Durant hasn’t had a chance to suit up for the Brooklyn Nets yet, but fans know just how much of an impact the forward can make when he’s healthy.

For those who still have questions about Durant, just look to his old Oklahoma City Thunder teammates Kendrick Perkins for some answers. Because as much as Perkins may be quick to criticize Nets point guard Kyrie Irving, he’s also always searching for a way to praise Durant.

And Perkins did just that on ESPN’s “The Jump” on Tuesday when the subject of Durant’s first scoring title came up on the show. He feels the Nets forward is the “greatest scorer in NBA history,” adding:

Offensively, KD gets in his bag, his suitcase, his toiletry bag, his backpack, everything. His offensive game is beautiful to watch.

ESPN’s Jay Williams followed up Perkins’ statements by stating Durant is “the most prolific scorer the game has ever seen.”
