Kevin Durant to miss two games; DeAndre Jordan probable vs. Kings

The Brooklyn Nets have lost Kevin Durant as quickly as they got him back. This time it’s a leg injury.

DeAndre Jordan is on track to be back with the Nets for their game against the Sacramento Kings on Monday, but Brooklyn will once again shorthanded. Kevin Durant has been ruled out both Monday against the Kings and Tuesday vs. the Phoenix Suns due to a mild hamstring strain.

Jordan missed Saturday night’s big win over the Golden State Warriors for personal reasons. It was his first absence of the season. Monday will mark the fourth game Durant has missed in Brooklyn’s last five. His previous stretch of absences was due to the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols, and this is the first time Durant has dealt wit a hamstring injury as a member of the Nets.

Bruce Brown or Jeff Green will be start for the Nets with Durant out — though, both could start if Brooklyn wants to go small at any point.
