DeMar DeRozan is playing the best basketball of his 13-year career and his peers have taken notice.
The Bulls currently sit atop the Eastern Conference as DeRozan has supplanted himself in the thick of the MVP conversation.
Brooklyn Nets All-Star Kevin Durant took to Twitter on Thursday morning to show his appreciation for the way DeRozan plays the game.
Thank you for setting a great example and playing the game with supreme skill @DeMar_DeRozan

Durant’s tweet comes on the heels of DeRozan passing Wilt Chamberlain for the most consecutive games with 35+points while shooting over 50% from the field, in which DeRozan notched his sixth-straight on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings.
DeRozan now heads to Cleveland for All-Star Weekend as he’s set to start in the All-Star game for Team LeBron.
