Kevin Durant says he deserves a 99 rating in NBA 2K22, LeBron agrees

Kevin Durant wants a 99 rating in NBA 2K22, and LeBron James agrees with him.

Nets forward Kevin Durant has kept quiet about his NBA 2K rating for far too long. The 32-year-old now says that it is time for him to join the 99 rating club in NBA 2K22. With the release of the game on the horizon, Durant was seen talking about what his overall rating should be:

“I think my rating should be a 99 on NBA 2K. I work extremely hard. I can make shots from all over the floor. I am a solid passer, a great rebounder. Yeah, I pretty much do everything great. That’s why I should be a 99.”

The basketball world witnessed one of the most legendary comebacks with Durant returning from an Achilles injury last season. He put up 26.9 PPG shooting it at 54%, a career-high, followed by an even better playoff run. During the postseason, Durant averaged 34.3 PPG to go with 9.3 RPG on 51% accuracy from the field. The eleven-time All-Star also was an inch away from eliminating the soon to be NBA Champions, the Milwaukee Bucks.

In that series, he put up 35.4 PPG and 10.6 RPG, which was the best individual performance by any player versus the Bucks in the postseason. It’s no wonder why it took seven games to determine a winner despite all of Brooklyn’s injuries. Let’s not forget that it was Durant too who led Team USA to gold in Tokyo for the Olympics.

2K released ratings for a few star players on Wednesday morning, and Durant is only a 96 at launch for 2K22. LeBron James, for one, doesn’t agree.
