Kyrie Irving could be back within the week, and Kevin Durant is making great strides, too.

Kyrie Irving was a full-go at Thursday’s Nets practice, participating in 5-on-5 action. He also expressed he hopes to return to game action for Brooklyn within the next week.

Kevin Durant got his work in on Thursday. And just like Brooklyn’s superstar point guard, Durant is moving in the right direction with his rehab, as Kenny Atkinson expressed to reporters at Thursday’s practice:

Atkinson could not share anything more specific regarding Durant, per Alex Schiffer of The Athletic. The Nets head coach didn’t want to “get ahead of myself and get people mad at me for giving you more than that.”

Additionally, Atkinson expressed he and the rest of the organization are still operating under the idea Durant will not be available on this season.
