On Tuesday night, the San Antonio Spurs pulled off an impossible win over the Phoenix Suns. They didn’t have a lead for the entire game up until there were 1.2 seconds left in the fourth quarter. In the final moments of the game, Victor Wembanyama slammed home a put-back dunk to get the Spurs within one, then Keldon Johnson wrestled the ball away from Kevin Durant and made a shot at the rim to put the Spurs ahead.
After being down for nearly the entire game, San Antonio pulled off the impossible and got the win by a score of 115-114. With the victory, the Spurs moved to 2-2 on the year.
Despite the tough ending from his perspective, Durant had some kind words to say about Wembanyama after the contest.
