Even though things don’t appear to be fully resolved, James Harden has reported to camp in Houston. How much he will play for the Rockets in 2020-21 remains to be seen as rumors of Harden wanting out continue to consume the Rockets.
While Harden’s teammates and head coach Stephen Silas continue to receive questions about the superstar’s future with the franchise, so do some members of the Brooklyn Nets — including Kevin Durant, who was asked about his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate on a Zoom call with the media on Wednesday.
“I don’t think about James Harden at all,” Durant said. “He doesn’t play on our team.”
Harden isn’t on the Nets now and it’s starting to look like he won’t be at any point in the near future either.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting there’s been no traction in talks between Houston and Brooklyn — which haven’t happened in a while — forcing the Rockets star to lengthen his list of desirable landing spots, bringing the Philadelphia 76ers back into the mix.
