Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving’s jerseys rank among NBA’s top sellers

The Brooklyn Nets are one of the NBA’s best franchises in terms of merchandise sold in 2019-20.

For the first time since 2014, the Brooklyn Nets rank among the NBA’s best teams in merchandise sold. The NBA announced the top-10 in team merchandise sales to this point in the 2019-20 season, and the Nets are ranked No. 10.

The teams ahead of Brooklyn are (from nine to one): the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers.

Two big factors in Brooklyn’s ascension to the top: Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Although Durant has yet to play in a game for the Nets, Brooklyn fans and those loyal to Durant clearly couldn’t wait to get their hands on his new jersey. He’s ranked No. 12 in jersey sales this season.

Irving is only a few spots ahead of him, coming in at No. 10.

The NBA’s top-selling jersey list also features Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (No. 6), Warriors guard Steph Curry (No. 3) and Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James sits atop the list.
