While the rest of the league focuses on the 2020 NBA Playoffs, Kevin Durant is already preparing for the 2020-21 season.

Well before the 2020 NBA Playoffs started, Kevin Durant and Spencer Dinwiddie were seen playing some pickup together as the Brooklyn Nets closed out the remainder of the 2019-20 season inside the Disney bubble.

Durant has expressed on multiple occasions that the rehab of his surgically repaired right Achilles has gone well — which is made clear by the fact he’s playing again, even though he has yet to log a game in a Nets uniform.

But Durant isn’t just back to playing again. He’s getting a lot of work in.

Durant said he’s “in the stage now where we’re just hooping every day” during his phone interview with The Joe Budden Podcast, adding:

I feel like myself again, like a player again. I got a long ways to go though.

The Nets superstar also mentioned he’s working out with four or five of his Nets teammates in Los Angeles. Durant did not mention which teammates he’s training with.
