Kevin Durant has wholesome Twitter exchange with fan worried about Achilles surgery

“You’ll be aight.”

There have been better days to hang around on the internet, but props to Kevin Durant for giving us a nice moment amid a decidedly rough day.

Durant, of course, is missing the entire 2019-20 NBA season after suffering a ruptured Achilles during the NBA Finals with Golden State. The now-Nets star has made progress on his rehab, but Brooklyn is understandably playing it safe with Durant.

In the meantime, Durant is available to answer your Achilles-related questions.

On Monday, 4for4 radio personality Holden Kushner asked Durant how painful Achilles surgery was as Kushner said he was due to undergo his own Achilles surgery in a couple weeks. Durant, who is very online, actually responded and told Kushner not to worry.

“Just a lil pinch of pain.”

The response was probably in jest, but Durant did put Kushner at ease with the answer. Any kind of surgery can be an anxious experience, after all.

But hey, thanks for that wholesome interaction. Best of luck to both KD and Kushner on their recoveries.
