Kevin Durant explains why Michael Jordan wasn’t ‘mean’

ESPN’s “The Last Dance” has shown a side of Michael Jordan that hasn’t sat well with some. Though, Kevin Durant doesn’t see any problems.

ESPN’s “The Last Dance” has been eye-opening for more than a few sports fans. Retired New Jersey Nets wing Kendall Gill even recently stated he’s learned a few things about the ’90s Bulls from the docuseries — and he played in the NBA throughout their entire run.

Among the things that have caught people off-guard was how tough Jordan was one his teammates. Even for those who knew he was demanding, some moments in the docuseries — like BJ Armstrong hesitating to say whether or not Jordan is a nice guy — have been surprising.

As a result, some seem to have changed their opinion of Jordan. Not Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant, though. He understands why Jordan did what he did, and on Tuesday, tried to explain on Twitter why:

If you love basketball you would understand Mike. If you just like basketball I can see why u would say he’s mean lol
