That meant Durant only needed to score four more points to tie Basketball Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor for No. 30 on the list all time and six points to pass him.
Durant accomplished this feat in the feat quarter, leaving soon-to-be Basketball Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade (23,165) as the next person in his path. Also well within in striking distance for Durant is Basketball Hall of Famer Adrian Dantley (23,177).
It took Baylor 846 games to score 23,149 points throughout his NBA career. It too Durant 857 games to pass the the 10-time All-NBA selection
