While the Nets recently unveiled a new design for their court at Barclays Center, one of their players donated an entire court to Brooklyn.
That was Kevin Durant, who did so with his company Thirty Five Ventures and the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation at the end of September.
Titled Court 21 for “the next generation of Brooklyn hoopers,” the court Durant’s companies built at Public School 152/315 in Brooklyn was given its name because it’s the 21st court that’s been donated in the Brooklyn forward’s name. It was the first court he’s donated to Brooklyn, but New York’s second.
Though, Court 21 is no longer the latest one that’s been completed — it’s not even the newest one in Brooklyn anymore.
On Tuesday, Thirty Five Ventures unveiled Court 22, located at Public School 115 in Brooklyn:

Durant has donated courts to both California and Oklahoma, his two previous NBA stops, along with Texas, where he went to college — donating courts elsewhere within and outside of the U.S. along the way.
