Kentucky women’s basketball was undefeated in November, but lost their first game of the season this past week to the ranked North Carolina Tarheels. They bounced back quickly, however, and blew out Queens on Monday. This led to a third straight week ranked 16th in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.
The Wildcats are now 8 – 1 on the season, and could arguably be ranked higher, but coach Kenny Brooks has to be happy with the start the team is off to.
