Kentucky will get a visit from a five-star 2025 recruit

Top five 2025 forward Nate Ament will visit Kentucky basketball.

Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope has already put together a very good recruiting class for 2025. Guards Acaden Lewis and Jasper Johnson are set to be joined by Malachi Moreno as Freshmen, and they are favored by some to land top ten recruit Caleb Wilson.

Now, it appears that they’re still in the running for another elite 2025 recruit. Forward Nate Ament will visit the Wildcats according to ESPN’s Paul Biancardi (subscription required).

Ament is a 6’9″, 185 lb power forward out of Virginia. He is rated five stars by 247sports and ranks as the number four overall player in the 2025 class. He’s the number two player at his position.

The star recruit told Biancardi:

I will take two visits in February: The North Carolina at Duke game and then Arizona at Kansas State. I’m going to try and squeeze in a Kentucky visit as well. I want to play for a coach and staff I can trust. A program’s plan for me and for other players they are recruiting is important. How they value me as a player and person is most important to me.
