After landing two top 25 recruits in Jasper Johnson and Malachi Moreno, Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope isn’t just taking it easy. He continues to work on the 2025 class, and Tounde Yessoufou is a name to watch.

Yessoufou is currently the number 27 overall player according to 247sports. They have him rated four stars, and list him as the number eight power forward in the class.

Pope and Kentucky have been recruiting him heavily, and it has paid off. Recently, Yessoufou announced his final six schools, and the Wildcats are on it. Baylor, Arizona State, Connecticut, Kansas, and the USC Trojans are the other competing schools.

Kentucky is ranked atop the team recruiting rankings right now. Adding Yessoufou to Johnson and Moreno would be a big deal, and they have some other targets they’re working no as well. Yessoufou is set to visit the Wildcats in October, and fans should continue to monitor him.
