One of the first Kentucky Wildcats’ roster dominoes since John Calipari left Lexington has now fallen, as freshman forward Aaron Bradshaw has reportedly entered his name into the transfer portal after one season with the Wildcats.
Bradshaw, who is a former five-star prospect from Kentucky’s 2023 class, is the first player to enter the transfer portal since news broke late Sunday night that Calipari would be departing Lexington for the Arkansas Razorbacks job.
As a freshman, Bradshaw appeared in 26 games for the Wildcats during the 2023-24 season, 10 of which he started. Bradshaw averaged 4.9 PPG and 3.3 RPG during that span, while also shooting 57.6% from the field, 28.6% from three, and 56.8% from the free throw line.
As mentioned previously, Bradshaw is a former five-star prospect from the 2023 class, where he was among the top overall players in that cycle. According to the 247Sports Composite, Bradshaw was the No. 4 overall player nationally, as well as the nation’s top center.
