Like his basketball counterpart, Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops is working on the 2025 recruiting class. One of their recent targets is a defensive lineman with some familial NFL ties.
Georgia product Caleb Bell is a 6’3″, 275 lb defensive lineman rated three stars by 247sports. In 2023, he had 10 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks on the way to winning a state title.

Many fans may remember Bell’s father, who played for a number of years in the NFL. The elder Bell starred at Georgia before being drafted in the second round in 2001. He was Rookie of the Year and a Pro Bowler that year, and played through the 2007 season.
Caleb Bell is a talented player in his own right, and certainly will have interest from multiple teams. He has several offers already, including Kentucky. He also has visits scheduled with North Carolina State and the Arkansas Razorbacks in June. Wildcats fans will keep an eye on this one.
