Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops has made rebuilding the offensive line a top priority for 2025. He hit the transfer portal and landed Joshua Braun and Alex Wollschleger less than a week ago. On Wednesday, he added another with the commitment of Wallace Unamba.
Unamba is a 6’4, 330 lb tackle who played at New Mexico last season. He played in ten games in 2024, and has experience at both tackle spots and played some left guard as well.

Originally, Unamba committed to Florida Atlantic out of Junior College, but left for New Mexico after one season there. Now, he’ll be a Wildcat in his final season of eligibility.
The offensive line was one of the weak links for the Kentucky offense last season, and helped lead to their 4 – 8 record. It has to be much better next year if Stoops and company want to get back to winning games and playing in the postseason. They’ll hope Wallace Unamba helps that process along.
