The 2025 Kentucky football roster continues to take shape as coach Mark Stoops and his staff add players from the transfer portal. On Monday, another piece was added when edge Kameron Olds committed to the Wildcats.
Olds was originally a three star recruit in the 2022 class. The 6’4″, 245 lb pass rusher out of Virginia chose to attend Buffalo out of high school. He transferred to Kent State for the 2024 season, and will join Kentucky for 2025.

This past year was a breakout season for Olds. He played in all 12 games for Kent State, and recorded 42 tackles, including seven for a loss. He also had six sacks and an interception.
Olds joins Sam Greene as edge rushers added this offseason. They also received a commitment from defensive lineman Jaden Williams as they attempt to replace their lost production from the 2024 team. Olds is a solid player who the Cats will be counting on to improve even more next season.
