Over the past few weeks, Kentucky football has landed some key four-star recruits, including top 100 edge rusher Cedric Works. They have been putting together a top 25 class, and on Tuesday, it got even stronger with the addition of Javeon Campbell.
Campbell was the state of Kentucky’s top recruit, ranked as the 109th overall player in the 2025 class by 247sports. He is their 15th ranked defensive lineman.

The 6’5″, 265 lb Campbell was being courted by some of college football’s power programs in addition to Kentucky. He had scholarship offers from Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, LSU, and several others, but chose to stay at home with the Wildcats.
Kentucky has added some quality recruits for the 2025 class, including multiple four star players on defense. Campbell joins Works, and Martels Carter already, and they’re hoping to add cornerback Dawayne Galloway to the list as well.
Mark Stoops and his staff should be applauded for the work they’ve done so far, and fans hope for even more to come.
