Kentucky football is targeting another transfer portal running back

Kentucky has targeted former Utah State running back Rahsul Faison in the transfer portal.

Just over a week ago, Kentucky football landed running back Dante Dowdell from the transfer portal. It seems that they may not be done yet, though. They have also targeted former Utah State running back Rahsul Faison.

Kentucky’s interest in Faison was reported by Pete Nakos, who posted it on the social platform X. The Wildcats could still use some depth at the position, even after adding Dowdell earlier this month.

Faison is a 6’2″, 215 lb back out of Pennsylvania. He landed at Utah State after junior college, and has been terrific in his two seasons there. In 2024, he rushed for over 1,100 yards and 8 touchdowns. He has one season of eligibility left.

The Wildcats aren’t the only team looking to add Faison. The Georgia Bulldogs have contacted him as well as North Carolina and Florida State. He would be a very nice addition if Stoops can land him. Stay tuned.
