The recruiting for the 2025 class is heating up for Kentucky football. They recently added a quality offensive lineman, and have a number of visits set up with recruits throughout June. It could be a big month for Mark Stoops and his staff, and Ja’kayden Ferguson could make it bigger.
Ferguson is a three star wide receiver out of Texas, and is an unexpected addition to the visit schedule for June. He is inside the top 500 overall players according to 247sports, and is the 76th ranked receiver. He’s a 6’1, 165 lb speedster who also runs track.

An announcement on the social platform X from Ferguson said he would be visiting Kentucky. He will be in Lexington on Friday, June 14th along with several other Wildcats recruits.
Kentucky has a very good set of receivers for the 2024 season, and has a history of good players there. Ferguson would be a nice addition, and a pleasant surprise.
