Kentucky basketball will face Clemson in the 2024 ACC-SEC Challenge

Kentucky basketball will play Clemson on December 3rd in the ACC-SEC Challenge.

Kentucky basketball fans don’t quite know the team’s exact schedule yet, but their SEC opponents are known, and the rest is slowly coming into focus. Another non-conference opponent is now known, with the lineup for the ACC-SEC Challenge being release. The Wildcats draw Clemson this year.

The ACC-SEC Challenge will take place on December 3rd and 4th, with Kentucky vs Clemson happening on the first day, which is a Tuesday. The game will be a road game for the Wildcats, played in Littlejohn Coliseum. It will be the first time the two teams have met since 1997.

Last year, the Tigers went on a tremendous run to cap one of their best ever seasons. They went 24 – 12, and then, in the NCAA Tournament, advanced to the Elite Eight.

Kentucky is starting fresh this year, with a whole new roster, and a new coaching staff. It’s impossible to predict exactly how their season will go. They play some good teams early on, including Clemson, and those early game will be a good indicator of their season will go.
