Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope made one of his first official scholarship offers on Monday, by offering center Chris Cenac. He quickly followed that up with another one, this time to 2025 power forward Niko Bundalo.
Bundalo is a 6’11”, 195 lb forward out of Ohio. He’s the number 30 overall player in the 2025 class according to 247sports and is rated four stars. They also have him as the 7th best power forward in the class.

Like Cenac, Pope and his staff watched Bundalo at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Orlando, and were impressed enough to make the offer to him. He announced the offer on the social platform X on Monday evening.
The Texas Longhorns and Alabama Crimson Tide are two of Kentucky’s SEC rivals who are also interested in Bundalo. Non-SEC teams like Louisville, Michigan State, and Purdue have also extended offers to him.
As with all of the 2025 prospects, fans will likely have to wait a bit before a decision is made. However, Pope is targeting some of the top players, and hopefully will land some of them.
