Kentucky baseball game with Florida postponed due to weather

Kentucky and Florida in the College World Series were rained out and will play Wednesday.

After Kentucky suffered a tough loss to Texas A&M in the College World Series on Monday night, they moved over to the elimination bracket for a game with another SEC rival in the Florida Gators. That game was set to be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday. However, weather has postponed the game.

The Wildcats and Gators will now face each other on Wednesday morning at 11:00 PM. It can be viewed on ESPN for those fans watching it on television.

Kentucky played Florida earlier this season in a three-game series. That series was played in Gainesville, and the Cats won two of the three, both in extra innings. The Gators struggled in SEC play this season, going just 13 – 17 in the conference.

It’s a must win game for both teams, as the loser’s season will end and their College World Series dreams will be over. Big Blue Nation is hoping to see the Wildcats extend their postseason run.
