You knew the moment that Kenny Mayne announced he would no longer be at ESPN by the end of May that he would deliver his final words on the network he’s called home for decades with his usual dry wit.
He didn’t disappoint.
After finishing an interview with Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers with a hilarious “[Expletive] you,” Mayne took his final seconds on SportsCenter to talk about his first days at ESPN, the trouble he had with a computer and his first ESPN2 segment he struggled with.
Then: “Thanks for having me, thanks for having electricity.” Just like that, he walked off.
.@Kenny_Mayne signs off from SportsCenter one final time.
Thank you for everything, Kenny đź‘Ź pic.twitter.com/BD2238mmz4

If you’re saying, “That’s so Kenny Mayne,” you’d be right. And it was perfect.
