Kenny Golladay earns a spot on top pending free agent list

Golladay and Chicago’s Allen Robinson are the WRs on Touchdown Wire’s list

Kenny Golladay is one of several Detroit Lions wide receivers playing out the string on expiring contracts in 2020. He will be one of the more coveted wideouts on the free agent market after the season ends.

Golladay was the lone Lions representative on Touchdown Wire’s All Free Agent-to-Be list for 2021 on offense. He and Chicago’s Allen Robinson represent the top of the pending free agent class of wide receivers. Analyst Doug Farrar notes Golladay’s excellent work at contested catches and his productivity despite getting the lowest separation per route run in the NFL.

Currently injured, Golladay has 20 receptions for 338 yards and two touchdowns in five games in 2020. The Lions have been unable to come to any contract extension with the 27-year-old despite several efforts in the last year.

Marvin Jones, Danny Amendola and Marvin Hall all join Golladay as Lions wide receivers who will hit the free agent market after the season.
