The Colorado Buffaloes have lost back-to-back games, but a Week 6 matchup against the Arizona State Sun Devils should be just what the doctor ordered.
Ahead of their matchup in Tempe this weekend, Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham, who is also in his first year with the program, dropped an honest assessment of what head coach Deion Sanders has meant to the Buffs (h/t PHNX Sun Devils):
“The culture that’s being created there is one that is we’re going to play competitive. We’re going to finish every play, and we’re going to play with passion and you can see it on tape.”
Dillingham has experience, too. He was an assistant with the Oregon Ducks before taking the job at Arizona State, and it’s no secret that this year’s Buffs team is night and day better compared to last year’s group, and Sanders is the reason why.
