Kenneth George Jr. records two tackles, interception against Toronto

Former Vol records two tackles and one interception as Tiger-Cats defeat Argonauts.

Hamilton defeated Toronto, 27-24, Saturday in a Canadian Football League game at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario.

Former Vol defensive back Kenneth George Jr. recorded two tackles and one interception for the Tiger-Cats, winning its first game of the 2024 season.

George Jr. played for the Vols from 2018-21 under head coaches Jeremy Pruitt and Josh Heupel.

He transferred to Tennessee from Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas.

George Jr. appeared in 33 games, including 10 starts, at Tennessee. He totaled 52 tackles, 10 pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and one interception.

In two seasons with Hamilton, George Jr. has appeared in 43 games. He has recorded 70 tackles, three interceptions, one sack and one fumble recovery.

In 2024, the former Vol has appeared in six games and recorded 24 tackles.
