Tennessee incoming freshman Kennedy Chandler and USA Basketball’s U19 World Cup Team has advanced to the semifinals in Latvia.
Team USA (5-0) defeated Senegal, 83-53, Friday, earning a berth in the semifinals. Team USA will play Canada on Saturday at 11 a.m. EDT.
ESPN+ will broadcast the game.
Chandler played 16 minutes and scored eight points against Senegal. He recorded three steals for Team USA, which opened a 32-14 lead in the first quarter.
Team USA is led by TCU head coach Jamie Dixon. Team USA has recorded tournament wins over South Korea, Mali, Australia and Turkey.
