Miami Heat rookie Kendrick Nunn, along with center Bam Adebayo, arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort on Tuesday ahead of the season restart this month near Orlando, Florida.

Nunn and Adebayo previously did not travel with the team to the Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney. Head coach Erik Spoelstra said two players were excused from participating in practice but declined to offer additional comment, citing medical privacy laws.

The Heat had three players test positive for the coronavirus but Derrick Jones Jr. was the only one that gave the team permission to release the results of his test. Heat veteran Goran Dragic initially told reporters that they were practicing without Nunn and Adebayo.

Nunn and Adebayo will now enter quarantine where they will need to return two negative coronavirus tests at least 24 hours apart before being cleared to practice with the team. The two players will likely be isolated for 36-48 hours.

Nunn and Adebayo emerged as two key players for the Heat this season. Nunn has solidified himself as a possible NBA All-Rookie selection while Adebayo was named an All-Star for the first time in his career this season.

The Heat will begin the season restart on Aug. 1 vs. the Denver Nuggets.
