The Dallas Cowboys have parted ways with offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, but he might not be out of a job for long.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to have “significant interest” in Moore for the same role on their coaching staff, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Moore certainly made the Bucs defense look silly in the Cowboys’ 31-14 victory in the wild-card round of this year’s NFL playoffs, so it’s no surprise that Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles would be interested in having Moore on his side.
After firing Byron Leftwich, the Bucs have already interviewed a handful of candidates to fill their open offensive coordinator job.
Moore is expected to have plenty of interest from other teams, as well, and it remains to be seen how Tom Brady’s status could impact who ends up calling the plays for the Bucs next season.
