It’s been a rough year for the San Antonio Spurs. What started as a promising young season, highlighted by two impressive wins over the Phoenix Suns, quickly turned into the year many projected the Spurs to have. They have now lost nine games in a row and sit at 3-11, good for 15th in the Western Conference.
On Monday night, they fell to the LA Clippers, losing 124-99. It marked James Harden’s second win since getting traded to the Clippers and the sixth time this year that the Spurs have lost by double digits. San Antonio is very young, but they are hungry, and losing gets old fast.
However, after their loss to LA, Keldon Johnson expressed a level of confidence in the team’s ability to push forward. (H/t Jonah Kubicek of Inside the Spurs)
