Kansas State is reportedly without seven starters for game against OU. The Wildcats were reportedly struggling with COVID-19 implications.

Kansas State will reportedly be severely undermanned in Saturday’s game against Oklahoma.

Pete Thamel reported that the Wildcats will be without seven starters in the Big 12 opener.

The Sooners have had their own struggles recently with COVID-19, but will have a majority of it’s roster for the bout with KSU.

OU was missing 20 players from its depth chart in the game against Missouri State, and more players on the roster were absent.

SoonersWire confirmed that more players were out due to contact tracing opposed to positive tests of COVID-19. Regardless, Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley said he and the Sooners have to do a better job of dealing with the pandemic.

Oklahoma and Kansas State just kicked off. The Sooners returned 16 players from their depth chart from the Missouri State game and have all their starters available besides those suspended.
