Against the spread (ATS)
IOWA STATE -8.5 (-110) is the lean here, even though ISU has yet to cover this season. You just cannot trust Kansas State, a team which lost by double digits at home to an NAIA school. Back the home side, although it likely will be a sweat shop until the end. The favorite has cashed in eight of the previous 11 meetings between these conference rivals, too, so that bodes well in favor of the Cyclones.
Over/Under (O/U)
UNDER 137.5 (-110) is the play here between two sides struggling offensively during the early going. The Under is also 4-0 in K-State’s past four following a non-cover, and 4-1 in the previous five after a straight-up victory. For Iowa State, it has hit the Under in five of the past six against teams with an overall winning percentage under .400.
