Kansas OT Hakeem Adeniji is a solid later-round prospect for the Browns, who attended his pro day this week

The Cleveland Browns were one of over 20 NFL teams to make the trip to Lawrence for the Kansas Jayhawks prospect pro day. And while there were other players on display, the primary attraction for the Browns was offensive tackle Hakeem Adeniji.

A four-year starter at left tackle, he lacks the ideal length to play on the edge in the NFL at just 6-4 and with 33-inch arms. He’s not an outstanding athlete either, though his workout numbers between Thursday’s pro day and the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine are respectable.

The Browns have met with Adeniji already, talking to the big Jayhawk during Senior Bowl week. Playing for the North squad, Adeniji fared well in pass protection and team drills against the other top senior prospects in Mobile for the week. He’s generally regarded as a Day 3 talent with the potential to move to guard or even center.
