The former UCLA Bruins assistants are getting jobs in college football. This time, the Kansas Jayhawks are hiring Angus McClure, who spent a decade working with the Bruins, per Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.
“Kansas has hired veteran offensive line coach Angus McClure as an offensive analyst, a source tells @247Sports. McClure, who worked at UCLA from 2007-17, has also worked at places like Nebraska, Cal and Nevada.”
After leaving UCLA, McClure spent time with Cal and Nevada, but now he joins the Big 12 and the Jayhawks as an offensive analyst.
McClure was the offensive line coach for five years before transitioning to the defensive side at UCLA, so he has done a lot of different things during his coaching days.
The Jayhawks are an intriguing team in the new-look Big 12 that includes Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah, but the Jayhawks should be one of the better teams in the conference this year.
Other coaching stops for McClure include Sacramento State, Buffalo, and Nebraska.
