For the fourth time in five years, the Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 on the road in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, securing their second-consecutive Super Bowl appearance.
Kansas City jumped out to an early lead behind Travis Kelce’s outstanding 19-yard touchdown catch. Later in the game, Kelce passed Jerry Rice to become the all-time leader in playoff receptions.
The Chiefs defense forced two second-half turnovers in the end zone, sealing the team’s trip to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
While playoff success has become the norm with Patrick Mahomes at the helm, Chiefs fans have never taken this team for granted.
