The main event of Saturday’s UFC 261 is the welterweight title fight rematch between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal. Usman is the reigning welterweight champion and will face the division’s No. 4 contender in Masvidal. “The Nigerian Nightmare” first won the belt via unanimous decision over Tyron Woodley at UFC 235 in March 2020. He has defended it three times, including a unanimous decision win over “Gamebred” Masvidal at UFC 251 July 11, 2020.
Usman’s coming off a third-round KO/TKO win over Gilbert Burns at UFC 258 in February. Masvidal hasn’t fought since losing at UFC 251.

There’s a 27.78% chance of the fight ending inside the first two rounds. A $100 bet would return a profit of $260.

A finish inside the first three rounds of the welterweight title is viewed by the oddsmakers as a little more likely with 2-1 odds returning a profit of $200 on a $100 bet.

The fight is expected to make it into the fifth round with a $190 bet on the Over needed for a profit of $100. The implied odds of UFC 261’s main event ending in the first four rounds are just 38.46%.
