Justin Jefferson (hamstring) a stretch to play Sunday vs. Bears

The star receiver for the Vikings could miss time

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, it would be a stretch for Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

With a hamstring injury, it’s a smart move to be extra cautious. That injury carries a high risk of re-injury. Letting them fully heal is the best route to go.

Jefferson injured his hamstring in the fourth quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs in the red zone. He limped slightly off the field and grabbed the back of his right leg.

Without Jefferson, the Vikings would be leaning on Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn and T.J. Hockenson. Injured reserve is an option for Jefferson which would cause him to miss four games, but they are waiting on more information.
