Junior Tafa has a hit list, and the Walker Brothers are on it ahead of UFC 305

Junior Tafa has heavyweight Valter Walker in front of him at UFC 305, but he’s thinking about Johnny at light heavyweight, too.

PERTH, Australia – [autotag]Junior Tafa[/autotag] met the media Wednesday ahead of his fight at UFC 305.

Tafa takes on Valter Walker in a heavyweight fight on the ESPN preliminary card at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. At media day in Perth, Tafa took questions from media members before his fight.

His last time out, Tafa stepped in for his brother Justin on just a day’s notice to take on Marcos Rogerio de Lima at UFC 298. He lost by second-round TKO, so he’s got a rebound on his mind against Walker.

“The last time I was here, my brother got a first-round knockout, so I’m going to try to one-up him in this one. (I’ll) get the bonus with it,” Tafa said at Thursday’s media day.

And while Tafa (5-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) no doubt knows Valter Walker (11-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is the brother he needs to worry about first, he’s got his eye on Johnny, Valter’s older brother, and a move down to light heavyweight if needed.

“I would like to fight both of the Walker brothers if I could,” Tafa said. “(I’ll go down) to light heavyweight and his brother would have to come after, too. I’m a fan of their fighting style. They’re cool cats. It’d be cool to do both of them in.”
