KNOXVILLE — Tennessee football head coach Jeremy Pruitt and the Volunteers secured another verbal commitment for the Class of 2021.
Wide receiver Julian Nixon, a rising senior from Centennial High School in Roswell, Georgia, announced his commitment to the Vols Tuesday morning via Twitter where he sported Tennessee colors.

A four-star prospect, Nixon considered attending Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, Ohio State and Oklahoma.
His commitment vaults Tennessee’s 2021 recruiting class to No. 5 in the nation. The Vols have 13 players committed and their class is only behind those at Ohio State, North Carolina, Florida and Clemson.
Nixon, 6-foot-3, 230-pounds, is ranked 42nd in the nation among the class’ wide receivers.
