New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman addressed the coronavirus outbreak to tell people to respect the orders of public officials, including the mandates from mayor Marty Walsh (for the curfew) and governor Charlie Baker (for a stay-at-home order).
Edelman thanked nurses, doctors and firefighters for their work during this difficult time. And the Patriots receiver harped upon taking the proper precautions to make sure people were doing their best to flatten the curve and limit the spread of COVID-19.
“Stay safe, stay healthy, stay inside,” Edelman said during a video he published on Twitter on Wednesday. “But if you do go outside, glove up, mask up.”
We know a thing or two about comebacks around here. Stay strong Boston, stay inside. This too shall pass. pic.twitter.com/liIZIeXAA5
