New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman shared a message to fans on Twitter on Friday amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Home field advantage taking on a whole different meaning these days. #StayHome,” Edelman wrote.
Edelman’s words of caution are, of course, important at a time with the spread of COVID-19. Massachusetts has instituted a stay-at-home advisory, with hopes of flattening the curve. It seems the receiver is doing his part to self quarantine to limit the number of cases of the coronavirus, which exceeds 3,000 in Massachusetts at the time of publication of this story.
Edelman wasn’t the only Patriot sending a message encouraging good habits in this difficult time. A group of Patriots filmed a video which encouraged people to use social distancing, wash hands and stay at home.
