We feel you, Edelman.

The year of 2020 is finally behind us.

For many people, it was the most difficult year of their lives. It’s time to move forward with a positive mentality and with a completely new approach to life. Julian Edelman is one of those people who dealt with these hardships.

The New England Patriots wide receiver played in a career-low six games this year because of a knee injury. Bill Belichick announced on Friday that he’s shut down for the season. Edelman finished the year with 21 catches for 315 yards — which are both the lowest of his career since 2012.

He also watched his team struggle to put together a 6-9 season through 15 games. Edelman hadn’t had a losing season with the Patriots, and that made this season much more difficult.

With all that being said, he had a very simple Twitter post for the new year.

The Patriots have enormous decisions to make this offseason, and whether to bring back Edelman — who turns 35 in May — will be a tough one.
