Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has high expectations for the organization’s playoff run.
Once a key playoff performer for the Patriots, Edelman now appears on “Inside the NFL.” Heading into Saturday showdown with the Buffalo Bills, the wideout expects Bill Belichick and the team to be ready.
Edelman knows a thing or two about being ready for the playoffs. He appeared in 19 games in his playoff career with New England, as he caught 118 passes for 1,142 yards and five touchdowns. The 2018 playoff run was particularly kind to him — he caught 26 passes for 388 yards, including a nine-catch, 151 yard performance against the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC Divisional Game.
Now, looking at it from the other side of the camera, he is confident in the Patriots’ preparation.
"I got to go with the @Patriots. Belichick is playing in his 44th playoff game. They're going to change it up on defense, disguise on third down to try and confuse Josh Allen. They're going to get it done." @Edelman11 #InsideTheNFL streaming now on @paramountplus. #ForeverNE pic.twitter.com/LHPBeKFoQx

Buffalo bested New England the last time these two teams met, as the Patriots struggled on both sides of the football. Losing by a 33-21 score, it was a far different result from when the Patriots were able to defeat Buffalo on the road by a 14-10 margin. In Buffalo once again,
New England will look to repeat similar results as the two teams meet for the third time in less than a month.
