JuJu Smith-Schuster’s reason for joining Patriots might surprise you

JuJu Smith-Schuster explained what excited him the most about coming to New England.

New England Patriots wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had at least one particular reason for signing with the Patriots.

The former Pro Bowler comes to New England after spending last season with the Kansas City Chiefs. He caught 78 passes for 933 yards and three touchdowns in a year when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl. The yardage output was his most any season since 2020.

Now, Smith-Schuster is ready to take that receiving talent to New England. The pass-catching group has been revamped for the organization, as tight end Mike Gesicki has also been added into the fold within the last week.

Smith-Schuster had one particular reason for signing with the Patriots, when appearing on The Sports Hub’s “Zolak & Bertrand.”

It will be intriguing to see what Belichick can get out of the wide receiver, as New England looks to have a more cohesive year offensively.

Smith-Schuster is undoubtedly going to be a big part of the offense, and his work in tandem with Belichick and the rest of the offensive unit will be fascinating to watch.
